Scheduled Script Execution - new pausing behaviour?

Here's something new and interesting I just noticed by pure luck.

I had a scheduled script 'In Progress'. It started at 10:01am. At 10:07am it stopped running, and another completely different script ran from 10:07 to 10:09. During this time, my first script got the status of Deferred. At 10:07, my first script kicked back in. Not another deployment, the EXACT same deployment.

In other words, script 1 paused in the middle of it's execution, let the other script run, then resumed its own execution.

Is this new??
