missing functions nlapiTimeToString and nlapiStringToTime?

Good morning,
I'm using the functions nlapiDateToString and nlapiStringToDate to automatically read and write date fields on custom forms.

What should I use to do the same with time fields?
Should I write my own format functions or there's something in SuiteScript APIs that could help me?
