Item Groups and Suitescript Line Iten Events

Hi,

I have a few client-side scripts running on a Sales Order's line items which fire on the Post Sourcing and Validate Line events. But if I add an Item Group to a Sales Order the events seem not to fire and therefore certain column are not calculated? Should this happen? Is there a way to sort this out?

Any help would be much appreciated!
