Line item type "itemtype" Service for Sale

Hi,

I would like to retrieve the full type of Service item added to a line e.g. Service for Sale.
What I know so far is that by iterating through the line items I can retrieve the basic type using nlapiGetCurrentLineItemValue('item','itemtype'); this however only returns Service and not Service for Sale. Anybody have any ideas?
