What is wrong with this formula? I am getting ERROR : Invalid Expression

Hi, On my item records, I have a custom field for "Week available" this uses week numbers.

I have created a second custom field, it is non stored, I have the formula box ticked, its type is date.

formula is to_char(to_date({custitem_weekavailable}*7-6,'DDD'))

Now the idea is to get a "Date" from the week number? Pllleeeeeaaaase can someone tell me what on earth I am doing wrong?
