Formula on sales order line

Hi

I am trying to set up a formula on the sales order line

The formula will return the number of cartons required for each shipping line

I have set up a custom record on the item (custitem3).  This record holds the number of items to a carton e.g 5

I have set up a transaction column custom record.  I want to add a formula for this record that divides the qty.ordered by the value in custitem3.

for example if the qty ordered = 100, then the value should be 20 (100/5)

Can anyone help
