Possible to set prices per item option?

Is it possible to set pricing per item option. Obviously we can have custom price levels, but is it possible to set custom pricing that is dependent upon an item option on a transaction?

From looking at it briefly I know I may be able to have multiple price levels and set those automatically based on the item option value, but that is a pain, and it would be nice if we could have the options modify the base price level...

Any ideas?
