Adding searches to an internal Tab

I have created an internal tab for our sales reps and cannot figure out how to put the searches on it. I am not sure how to make this tab published or if that is even what I need to do since its only an internal tab. The tab is up and now all I need is to know how to enter the information on it.

Anyone know what I need to do?  I also would like to have some sort of a notes section on it where the employees who have access to it can type of some notes and leave on the page for the rest of the employees to see. (Is that possible?)
