workflow action "create record" with unexpected (sensless?) errors

Good morning,
I've created a workflow with several states.
At its last state, I've created an action with these parameters:
- type = create record
- trigger on = entry
- record type = 'customrecord_to_create'
- a list of fields, copied from the record triggering the workflow to the 'customrecord_to_create'

It seems like the workflow action cannot read the values from the source fields (but I'm sure I've put a value into them!), and I get this error:
- USER_ERROR
- Please enter value(s) for: [the complete list of the fields I'm trying to copy from the source record to the new record to be created!!!]
