Task Assigned To Email Alert

Hi,

Is there any way to track the assignment email alert when a Task record is assigned to particular user?

The scenario is that we have a script to create task records and assign to certain users with sendemail option is checked. But I keep getting inquiries saying that they don't get the email alert. So there any way that I can track these alerts?
