There's a topic on the same subject in Website/Ecommerce, I'd like to start this new thread since the intention is to find out if this is doable right within NetSuite without a 3rd-party tool.  FYI, Oracle has a set of APIs designed specifically for the functionality.
For my own purpose, I'm only interested in the procurement side of things.

Creating a suitelet to send data to a URL along with employee email (extrinsic) to initiate the process should be fairly straight forward.
