Report on Date of Status Change

I would like to get a list of everyone that became a customer over a certain time period.  So if their stage changed from "PROSPECT" or "LEAD" to "CUSTOMER" during September, I want them to show up either in a saved search or a report; preferably with the date of the status change. 

Can anyone point me in the right direction, I only seem to be able to filter on "date created."  Which doesn't help me if the lead was created last year, but didn't become a customer until now.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
