# of customers with email
We pay our store managers a small bonus based on the % of customer email addresses they obtain (ie # of new customers with email address not null/# of new customers).
The above ratio is fairly easy to obtain however I would like to refine the report by adding in existing customers that never had email addresses and now do, ie a customer was entered in 2004 with no email address and now, in April, 2007, the manager captures their email address.
I would like this to be included in the numerator of the equation so the equation is now (# of new customers this month with email + #of customers that had null email before and a non null email (changed this month) / # of new customers.
