Item costing

Hi all, having trouble in determing item costings

Example item with "Purchase Price" set at 16.70, however looking at the last time we were billed for items by a vendor the price was 17.58.

However all reports that I produce seem to only show item cost at 16.70.

Please can anybody tell me what field to choose to add to a Inventory Profitibility report to show this 17.58 cost?
