Report TimeOuts

We are getting many issues with report time outs - particularly financial reports.

We have been experiencing this much more in the last 8 weeks.  Has anyone else been experiencing this?

The recommended work around is to run the report in the background.  This we have been doing but running in the background has at times given us the following problems:

- 30 minute time delay !
- reports not giving the information actually asked for when submitted
- reports not existing when you click the link.

This really is appalling.  Am I alone?
