Amount paid on commission report

I hope I'm missing something, I don't think I am because I asked support... but maybe they are confused.

When we run commission detail reports it doesn't show the amount paid.  It shows the amount of the transaction and it shows the commission amount... but not the collection amount, which in OUR case is how the commissions are calculated.

So... a commission report that is completely unverifiable by the person looking at it.  My reps have already started asking "How did you arrive at these numbers?" and the only way I can answer them is to pull the individual customer records and look at the payment history.
