Making changes to the "Adobe Distiller" module within my NetSuite instance...
I have had an issue with getting a report that is rendered in NetSuite to print correctly on a dot matrix printer. In fact, any output from this dot matrix printer from Adobe Reader is very poor in quality of the print. We need to print to a dot matrix because we are writing a multi-part form that is required by the government. We’ve tried all sorts of alternative drivers, 3rd party PDF readers, multiple dot matrix printers to no avail.
I’ve finally fixed this issue with some low level changes that must be invoked through the “Adobe Distiller” – that’s the module that actually creates the PDF. Basically to get it to print correctly we need to imbed the actual fonts used into the PDF being created from NetSuite.
