Saved Search: Save As

I am building a suite of reports with some underlying commonality.  I am therefore using the Save As button.  When I do this the new report is not available to see in the saved search drop-down list until (often) the next day.  I've tried logging out and in, does not work.  What causes the delay.

The same thing happens if I rename a report; it shows under the old name for a while; but at least I can find it.
