Include deferred income---it is excluded

We have several items that the income account is a balance sheet account and we recognize revenue with memorized journal entries.  No, we don't have the rev rec module.

Sales on either a quote, opp, or invoice, that goes to a bal sheet account is not included in either the pipeline or forecast.

Any ideas how to get these included?
