25000 row report limit detrimental to business
Found a disturbing limit on my General Ledger report.
Apparently, all reports are limited to 25000. Understandable (I guess) for most types of reporting, but for a GL report?
Opened a case (#749826 & 749765-which is attached to enhancement 112208). A work around was suggested (Allowing web query) but this is also restricted to the same 25K line limit. The second work around is to run it by Quarter (limit date range).
My Auditors (both internal and external), CEO, CFO, VP of Sales, Financial staff, Board of Directors, and potential investor groups, all need to see this report on a regular basis. Sure, I can use a date range to limit the results, but they are not going to like that answer. Imagine asking your bank or your broker for a GL statement, and they hand you 2 or 3 for the entire year! Wouldn't something seem a little fishy about that?.
