Cant search for customer by state?

What am I missing here, I used to be able to filter either in a saved search or custom list view by the customers state, but now that field does not seem to exist as a filter and my saved searches (I had one for our home state) do not work and I cant even edit them.

What changed and how do we search by customer's state?
