Formula not working in saved search

case when ({custevent5}='T' or {custevent17}='T') then 1 end and {completeddate} is within last month

This is a saved 'task' search. Custevent5 and 17 are custom checkboxes and completedate is a standard task field.

We had this working this afternoon but it didn't save and now I'm doing something wrong with putting this together.

This formula works until it hits the 'and'.

Any help would be appreciated
