Count of Custom Record to display on Item Record

Hi There,

We utilise a custom record table to record email Back in Stock notifications from our website.

The table works fine and I can extract all necessary reports from it.

What I would like to do is to display a count summary of this table on the item record - and hence get it onto the Inventory > Order Items page.

Is there a way to display a single field summary saved search report on the item record as a custom item field?
