Showing Last Sales Price in Search

I'm trying to find a way to show the last sales price on the Items tab under Sales on the Customer record. It shows Last Purchase Date - I just want to add a column that shows the price of the item on that date.

Last Purchase Price from the item record is the last purchase price from the vendor, so I don't want that, and I see that Last Purchase Date is found using summary type Max. Is there a way to get the Last Sales Price via formula and/or function?
