Calculating A/R average days to collect

I would like to create a saved search to be used as a key performance indicator to display the A/R average days to collect.  The formula is: (A/R balance at the beginning of the month) / (cash collected for the whole month) X 30

Simple formula but tough to implement without using buckets or a good reporting tool.

Any help would be appreciated.
