is it possible to generate a report/statement sorted this way?
Hi,
My coworker showed me how she generates statement for clients who have invoices and payments in the past. Statement shows all the payments and purchases for a customer, but it is sorted by date. She wants to see the invoices and the related payments underneath.
For example, we want;
invoice 1
payment 1
invoice 2
payment 2A
payment 2B
invoice 3
payment 3
INSTEAD OF
invoice 1
invoice 2
payment 1
invoice 3
payment 2A
payment 3
payment 2B
Since there is no specific column to sort by, I don't think this can be done with statement. I was wondering if anybody knows a way of generating a more accountant-friendly report.
