PDF vs. Word based Template Generation
We have an implementation where we need to generate very good looking contracts from information within Quotes and Sales Orders. The PDF and HTML formats, are simply not flexible enough.
We understand there is a technique to generate PDFs based on an Adobe Acrobat built form. We are light on details though. Here are my questions:
1. Will we be able to create the Adobe Acrobat PDF files and have them work just like the built-in generated PDF and HTML records? We want to be able to trigger the "to email" functionality in Quotes and Sales Orders.
2. Can we do the same thing but instead generate a MS Word based file that can be do the same thing?
