Hoping for a way to get reports on unprocessed payroll batches

Does anyone have any idea of a way to create some sort of report on payroll checks and batches BEFORE they get committed?  It would be so nice to print and review a report before committing so we can find and correct any errors in payroll without having to create and then reverse a paycheck if someone made a mistake.

I do hope there's something that can be done, although I haven't found a way to do this yet.:(
