Search serial numbers, possible formula to assist?
I receive an Excel worksheet every month that has about 100 serial numbers. I am required to create a report for all the serial numbers that shows the date they were sold, the location, and the invoice number.
I've tried doing this with SQL but have not had luck adding the transaction information in. I'm using Excel query builder and the second I drop the transaction table or transaction detail table in (without even linking it) I get about 4,000 lines in my results. Even when I link the item number in the inventory number table to that of the transaction detail table I still get all the lines.
