Formula: Customers who bought a type of item on their first transaction.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a formula that will select customers who have bought from a particular item category ({item.custitem_item_category}='project') on their first purchase.

I seem to remember something like dense rank .... but I just don't write these formulas often enough to do it. Any help would be much appreciated.
