Monthly forecast from opportunities

Hi
We want to create a forecast report which tells us by month what is the estimated income from opportunities by the monthly predicted revenue.

For example, say we have the following opps :
Opportunity A :
Start date : 1st Aug
Duration : 9 months
Total Value : £3600
(therefore monthly income is £400)

Opportunity B :
Start date : 1st Sept
Duration : 3 months
Total Value : £600
(therefore monthly income is £200)

I wish to run a report which outputs the following :

Aug = 400
Sep = 1000
Oct = 1000
Nov = 1000
Dec = 400
Jan = 400
Feb = 400
Mar = 400
Apr = 400

Is this possible?
