Traping pricing errors

I am trying to compare my cost price to a particular price level. Unfortunately cost prices are rising very quickly and I need to have an email alert to warn of low margins when a product price increases.

If I do a saved search I don't seem to be able to access price levels in the "Criteria" filter. I am trying to search on a custom price level against preferred supplier cost.

Is there a workaround?
