2 Dimensional P&L

I'm trying to build a 2-D P&L segmenting data first by class and then within each class, list account balances by department (with all accounts listed down the y axis). Essentially, I'm trying to pivot P&L data on the x axis, first by class and then by department within that class.

Has anyone had any luck building a report like this?
