Line Item Description?

Hello, I am working on a pretty simple transaction search of item receipts.  I'm trying to get the value from the 'description' field from each of the lines.  I don't want to go to the item and get any of it's descriptions because they are often over written.  Is this possible?  I don't see that field as an option.
