Zip/Code starts with....

I've been struggling to find a formula structure that will allow me to find all postcodes (zipcodes) which begin with a set letter/number sequence.

So, for example -
Find me only codes which start L and then directly followed by any number.

So, find L1, L12 2AA, L55R 1AA, etc - but ignore LS1, LB12 2BB, LT55R 1AA, etc.

Any pointers?
