Filter Inventory Report by Preferred Vendor

I would like to add a filter to the Current Inventory Status Report so the user can filter by the preferred vendor on the item.
When I add InventoryItem.PreferredVendor to the Filters, I can't select a value of equal to -All-. It seems the only option is to name every vendor which doesn't work well when new vendors are added.
Is there some other way I should be doing this?
