No search within a search? Workaround?
I’ve heard from Netsuite support that there is currently no way to do a search within a search. I’m currently looking for a workaround.
For instance, a search of ALL contacts for End Users (customers) with contract items of a specific type. If I create a contract item search with the necessary type filter, I can add the “Bill to Customer” or “End User” fields, but nowhere in the search setup can I access the contact sublist of the End User record. I can access the primary contact if there is one on the customer record, or contacts that are directly associated with the contract item, but not ALL contacts for ANY customer that has a specific contract item.
