User "falling off" saved search alert emails

This is driving me crazy - I have a saved search alert that triggers an email to one of my users when a new record is created.  Every day, this user is *poof* gone from the Recipients list, and every day I re-add them.  This has happened on 2 saved searches now, two different users.  The audit shows no one running these searches or editing them besides myself.

Anyone else experiences this?
