Show ACTUAL order profit by sales rep without commission module?
I don't know the details of why we're not using the commission module for Netsuite, but there were issues our last accountant had with it. What we've been using is the Customer Profitability Summary modified to group orders by sales rep.
The issue we have is, this report uses the sales rep currently assigned to the customer. The problem for us is, when a sales rep leaves, or sometimes even before they leave, we are already assigning their good customers to other sales rep so the customers are taken care of. I thought the simple solution would be to use the sales rep from the transaction record as that would be more accurate and allow us to reassign customers without worrying about their commission not getting reported.
