SQL search criteria to compare record subsets and identify unmatched records?

edited Jan 3, 2020 12:26AM in Search / Reporting 3 comments

I'm new to both NetSuite and SQL and need some help with a search that's just a little more advanced than my skill set.  Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In our business we review monthly reconciliations our clients send us for each of their bank accounts and create a record of the reconciliation that includes the client name, month/year of the recon, name of the bank the account is with, and the last 4 digits of the account number.  I need to create a search that will compare September's recons against December's recons and identify all September records where the combination of client, bank name, and account# in the September record is not found within any December record.

Howdy, Stranger!
