Transaction Saved Search Showing Serial Number of Components of Kit Items

We have a number of kit items that are comprised of serialised and non-serialised items. We are struggling to create a saved search that shows the serial numbers for the relevant components of those kits items, even though the serial number information is stored in the item fulfillment record. Any suggestions?
