Item Fulfillment record field not available for reporting?

I'w working on a basic shipping P&L report, I want to base it on Item Fulfillment records, and the corresponding Sales Order.

One of the key fields I would need is Field ID: shippingcost, which I can view on the Item Fulfillment record, but this field seems to be inaccessible to any reporting feature other than saved searches. And I have the essence of the report in a saved search. But it lacks the visibility features of the other reporting tools. I am also trying to avoid having to export the file out to be analyzed.

Am I just not seeing a feature or are the other reporting tools too narrow in focus?
