Custom Fields

Does anyone have a code snipplet they can post demonstrating how to access the values stored in custom fields.  At this point I have ran a search, populated an array, and now I'm looping through and populating variables.  I'm at the last part which is to populate variables from custom fields within NetSuite and I cannot figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
