Sales Order Item Location Bug
Just finally tracked down a frustrating problem to a bug in Netsuite's web services. We were having trouble with the location field changing for items on sales orders and had a hard time figuring out why it was happening. It turns out that every time a sales order is updated via web services, each of its line items' location gets set back to its preferred location... even if nothing has changed! :eek:
We're using NS's locations for our inventory allocation to auction channels, so as you can imagine, this has caused us some serious issues.
So, if you're seeing item's locations changing in sales orders, search your code for places where you do something like this:
