New Sales Order error

I'm getting a new error from my code that generates sales orders.  I'm not setting the amount for the items and letting NetSuite default it to the customers pricing level.

However I'm not getting the error "USER_ERROR Please enter a value for amount".

Even if I try setting a value (which I don't want to do) it still fails with the same error.

Help!
