ListOrRecordRef - SelectCustomFieldRef - How to Add with Web Services?

Hi,

I am trying to add a Custom Record using WebServices.

One of the fields I need to add is of the type "List/Record", and contains a list of Sales Orders in the system.

I need to set this List/Record field value and add it to my Custom Record object.

What is the syntax for setting the selected value of the ListOrRecordRef?

I know it must incorporate the SelectCustomFieldRef object but has anyone done  this before? or know the syntax that should be used to do this?
