Name error when creating a custom record
I am trying to create a custom record though Web Services but am stuck trying to get the name set correctly. I am receiving an error when setting the name and leaving the name off. I can create the record when 'Include Name Field' is unchecked.
Error when setting name:
"You do not have permissions to set a value for element name due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases."
I have logged in and verified that I can create a record with a name though the NetSuite interface. I used the same user and role I am using though Web Services.
