CustomRecordSearchBasic

I am running into one slight difficulty with a Custom Record search that I will see if anyone else has run into or knows what I might be doing wrong.

I am setting up the following code:

         Dim custrecSearch As New CustomRecordSearchBasic          Dim recList As New ArrayList          Dim rec As New RecordRef            rec.internalId = "6"          rec.type = RecordType.customRecord          rec.typeSpecified = True          recList.Add(rec)            Dim crRec As RecordRef() = New RecordRef(recList.Count - 1) {}          For i As Integer = 0 To recList.Count - 1              crRec(i) = CType(recList(i), RecordRef)          Next            custrecSearch.internalId.searchValue = crRec    'Problem is here 

But on 'custrecSearch.internalId' I keep getting an '
