Is anyone using Classic ASP/VBscript?

I've just been thrown into the wonderful world of NetSuite API.  I'm most familiar with classic ASP and would like to use that if possible.  Is anyone out there accomplishing that?  I'd mainly like to know that if this is even possible or not, and then any tips and tricks so that i'm not reinventing the wheel.  Thanks!
