Possible to do auth outside NS and capture inside?

We are thinking of developing an external shopping cart that will talk to Netsuite using Web Services.

We would like to have that cart use the PayFlow Pro gateway to perform an auth on credit cards but not charge them.

Next, we will use Web Service calls to place the orders into Netsuite, including the transaction ID and authorization code.

When we fill the orders, Netsuite can perform the captures on the authorizations so we will be paid.

Is this possible?
How can do we it using Web Services?
